The Conservatory at The Brown Jug is ideal for a small, intimate wedding reception, private dining, a birthday party, charity event, funeral gathering, business meeting or team building exercise.

Events & Entertainment in the Evenings

You can also hire our funtion room for a wide variety of evening events. These include live music, comedy nights, BBQ & hog roast, charity fund raising events, quiz nights and office parties.

The Brown Jug also benefits from a Skittles Alley, perfect for an informal get-together with friends and family or as a regular venue for club meetings.

Our function room is perfect to hire out for small to medium-sized events for up to 80 people. We can accommodate up to 50 people seated for a set menu or up to 80 people for informal buffets. Our menus can be tailor made to individual requirements with prices starting from just £7.45 per person.

When you book the Conservatory you'll also have full use of our lovely beer garden that holds 30 people, great to hold a BBQ in the summer - weather permitting!

Christmas Buffets & Parties 2012

Come and enjoy your Office or Work Christmas Party at the Brown Jug on Bath Road. We're doing some great deals and prices on our function room hire and Xmas buffets.

• £50 room hire charge is required for evening bookings on parties over 20 people
• £35 room hire charge is required for lunch bookings on parties over 20 people
• To hire Disco’s, Live Music, Magicians, Comedians you can book it direct through your company or we can take care of it for you! Please ask a member of staff when making booking.

Function Room Tariffs

Wedding reception parties are from £75 per room.

Our function room hire price is £50 per function based on an evening function, however if you require a daytime function between Monday & Saturday it's only £35.

Please note that a deposit of £50 is required within seven days of making a booking and the full balance of the function must be paid 10 days prior to the event or function.
