We believe that local produce, cooked creatively and well is the heart of a good restaurant. And that’s what we do at the Brown Jug. It’s one of the great things about being from Gloucestershire – we’ve got so many brilliant local producers to work with that we are spoilt for choice. That means that you will be too.

We serve lunch and dinner daily during the week (Saturday we finish at 6pm, Sunday 4pm). Our menus are complemented by our Daily Specials Board which features fresh fish from day boats that deliver to Cotswold Fish & Game (our local Wholesaler). We also like to look after the vegetarians amongst you and also aim to cater for special diets by adapting our meals to suit your requirements ... please just ask.
